Margaret (Peg) Foley, 86, passed away after a brief illness on Wednesday, October 28, 2026. Born in Portland, ME, she was the daughter of the late John Foley and Roberta Foley.

Peg’s early education led her to become a Doctor of Chiropractic. She got her degree in.

Indianapolis, Indiana. She later went on to enjoy a series of manufacturing jobs in Connecticut. Advancing through the ranks to ultimately join the Human Resources Department.

She then joined Speidel, a Textron Company, in Providence, Rhode Island as their Recruiter and was also responsible for the Safety Department. She completed her career with Speidel as the Human Resources Director.

Subsequently, working for the Hospice Corporation before her full retirement. Peg’s last six years found her still enjoying the work of helping others. She was the Resident Council President at her Nursing Home, in Warwick, Rhode Island.

She is remembered by her many friends, some lifelong.

She was the sister of the late John Foley, Jr, and Mary Foley Harmon. Peg enjoyed the nieces and nephews from her siblings unions.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2026 at 11:30 am in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, East Greenwich, RI. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hill Skeffington Funeral Home of East Greenwich www.hillskeffington.com
