Richard F. “Dickie” Milner, 80, passed away May 8, 2026. Born in West Warwick he was a son of the late Charles and Anna Marie (Jalbert) Milner.
He was a groundskeeper at Goddard Park and was a US Army veteran.
Dickie was a masterful creator possessing the rare ability to capture the world with photorealistic precision. Many of his drawings are on display in many local businesses as well as the homes of his friends.
He was an avid outdoorsman who loved the East Greenwich Shoreline and hiking in the woods. He was also known for riding his bike “Sweet Pea” all over East Greenwich.
He is survived by two siblings Patricia A. Gallagher and her husband Bob and Ralph Milner and his wife Ann; his niece Melissa Durfee and her husband Doug and two grandsons. He was the father of the late Adam Milner.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18, 2026 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the Carpenter - Jencks Funeral Home, 659 East Greenwich Ave., West Warwick UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE HILL SKEFFINGTON FUNERAL HOME OF EAST GREENWICH. Burial with military honors will be in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown.
