Susanne DeSimone passed peacefully on September 29th with her sister Mary by her side. She was the loving Mother of Rick Kempf and his spouse Stacy Cook, Raymond DeSimone and his spouse Kim Derkx, and the adoring grandmother of Madi Kempf. She was the sister of Mary and Richard Gliottone, Jack and Marcia Kempf, and Francis and Jill Kempf.

Susanne was known for her generosity and unconditional love towards everyone in her presence. She loved singing together and spreading joy with her unforgettable laugh and smile.

She was the daughter of the late Francis and Mary Kempf and the sister of the late Howard Kempf and Kathleen Ouellette.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 5, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Urquhart Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Avenue Warwick UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE HILL SKEFFINGTON FUNERAL HOME OF EAST GREENWICH. A reception to follow at Cornerstone of Faith, 1081 Main St., Coventry. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in her memory, www.stjude.org
