In Loving Memory of Abrehet Weldemichael

Abrehet Weldemichael was born in Ethiopia and entered eternal rest on September 1, 2026, surrounded by her loving sisters and children.

Abrehet was a woman of extraordinary faith. Even throughout her illness, she continued to praise the Lord and never questioned her faith . She placed her faith above everything else and followed what God placed in her heart, including returning to Ethiopia when her heart and faith called her there.

She faced death with a peace that comforted those around her. She told her family, “Do not cry if I pass. I am going to my Father.” Those words reflected the unshakable faith with which she lived every day.

Abrehet was an incredible wife, a devoted mother, an amazing sister, and a loyal friend. She was the person everyone turned to for comfort, guidance, and understanding. She listened without judgment, carried the burdens of others, and had a way of making people feel safe. To so many, she was their source of strength and their “therapy.”

Her enormous, unforgettable laugh filled every room with joy. Her kindness touched everyone she met, and she lived with such love and grace that there was not a single soul who could speak badly of her.

Abrehet’s absence leaves a pain that words cannot describe, but the love, faith, laughter, and goodness she gave to this world will remain forever. Her life was a testimony of faith, and her memory will continue to live through her husband, her children, her sisters, her family, her friends, and every person blessed to have known her.

Although our hearts are broken, we find comfort in the promise she held so firmly: she has gone home to her Heavenly Father.

May her beautiful soul rest in eternal peace.
