Alex Silva

Alex Silva, 50, passed away on January 15, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones. Born on May 29, 1975, in Mexico to Manuela Muñoz and Eulalio Silva, Alex was the youngest of his siblings and grew up with a deep sense of family that remained central throughout his life.

In his early years, Alex made the courageous journey to the United States in pursuit of better opportunities, motivated most of all by love for his son and the desire to give him a brighter future. Though he built a life far from where he was born, his heart remained close to Mexico. He carried his heritage with pride — in his culture, his traditions, his stories, and his faith.

Alex spent many years working in manufacturing, and in his most recent role he served as a supervisor at BSM Pump Corporation. He was a dedicated and hardworking man who took pride in doing the job well and supporting those around him.

Outside of work, Alex found joy in the simple pleasures of life — being near the water, watching soccer, enjoying movies, and seeking out good food. He will be remembered for his warm presence, his easy laugh, and the comfort and friendship he offered to those who knew him. Alex had a gentle way about him that made people feel welcome, and he carried a quiet strength that helped him navigate life’s challenges with dignity.

Alex was a man of faith who often turned to Our Lady of Guadalupe for protection and comfort. He lived with gratitude for God’s blessings and faced hardship with resilience and grace. His devotion, along with the traditions he held close, will continue to live on through those he loved.

Alex is survived by his son Diego, who was the pride of his life, and by his loving partner Melly. He shared many meaningful years with Susy, who remained an important part of his story. He is also survived by his siblings Enrique, Angelica, and Beatriz; and by his nieces and nephews: Tanya, Erick, Ricardo, Daniela, Adriana, Denis, Berna, Naty, and Fany, as well as many more extended family members who will hold his memory close. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Lourdes.

Alex’s life was woven with love, faith, heritage, and moments of everyday joy. He will be deeply missed by all who had the gift of knowing him, and his memory will continue to be honored on both sides of the border.

Alex Silva, de 50 años, falleció el 15 de enero de 2026 rodeado de sus seres queridos. Nació el 29 de mayo de 1975 en México, hijo de Manuela Muñoz y Eulalio Silva. Fue el más joven de sus hermanos y desde muy temprana edad aprendió el valor profundo de la familia, algo que lo acompañó durante toda su vida.

En su juventud, Alex emprendió el valiente camino hacia los Estados Unidos en busca de mejores oportunidades, motivado principalmente por el amor hacia su hijo y con el deseo de darle un futuro más prometedor. Aunque construyó una vida lejos del lugar donde nació, su corazón permaneció siempre unido a México. Alex vivió con orgullo sus raíces, sus tradiciones, su cultura y su fe.

Alex trabajó muchos años en el sector manufacturero, y en su último empleo se desempeñó como supervisor en BSM Pump Corporation. Fue un hombre dedicado y trabajador que siempre buscó hacer las cosas bien y apoyar a quienes lo rodeaban.

Fuera del trabajo, Alex encontraba alegría en los placeres sencillos de la vida: pasar tiempo cerca del agua, ver fútbol, disfrutar de películas y saborear buena comida. Quienes lo conocieron lo recordarán por su cálida presencia, su risa fácil y la sinceridad de su compañía. Tenía una forma dulce de hacer sentir bienvenidos a los demás y una fortaleza tranquila con la que enfrentaba las dificultades con dignidad.

Alex fue un hombre de fe que con frecuencia acudía a la protección y consuelo de la Virgen de Guadalupe. Vivió con gratitud por las bendiciones de Dios y con una resiliencia que reflejaba la esperanza de su corazón. Su devoción y sus tradiciones vivirán en quienes lo amaron.

Le sobreviven su hijo Diego, orgullo de su vida, y su pareja Melly. Compartió muchos años significativos con Susy, quien también formó parte importante de su historia. Asimismo, le sobreviven sus hermanos Enrique, Angélica y Beatriz; así como sus sobrinos Tanya, Erick, Ricardo, Daniela, Adriana, Denis, Berna, Naty y Fany, además de un gran número de familiares extendidos que guardarán su memoria con cariño. Le antecedieron en muerte sus padres y su hermana Lourdes.

La vida de Alex estuvo tejida de amor, fe, raíces y momentos de alegría cotidiana. Será profundamente extrañado por todos quienes tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo y su memoria será honrada a ambos lados de la frontera.
