Alice Patricia Byrne

Alice Patricia Byrne, 90, a long-time resident of East Greenwich, passed away January 17, 2025. She is survived by her husband of 63 years William J. Byrne. Born in Quincy, MA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas J. and Anna M. (Freeman) Kelly.

She was an active participant in Garden Club, bridge, book club, and a 20-year volunteer for Ronald McDonald House. Her previous employment included IBM and East Greenwich School Department.

Pat’s treasure was her large family. She showered her children with unwavering love, guiding them with grace, patience, and an open heart. She had countless friends from near and far and never met a stranger. Pat was a giver to all. She was a faithful steward of the Lord and a dedicated parishioner of our Lady of Mercy Church.

Besides her husband, she is survived by daughter Cheryl Rosadino and husband Gary (Cheshire, CT), daughter Gail McLaughlin and husband Stephen (Alpharetta, GA), daughter Donna Solomon and husband Mark (Southborough, MA), daughter Michelle Dufresne and husband Kyle (Suwanee, GA), and son William Byrne (Brighton, MA). Pat was a proud grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday January 24th at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 65 Third St., East Greenwich, Burial will be private.
