Amelia T. Gallo

Amelia T. Gallo (Nappa), 85, passed away June 5, 2018. She was the devoted wife of the late Francesco N. Gallo. Born in East Greenwich she was a daughter of the late Pasquale and Letizia (Simone) Nappa.

She was a member of the East Greenwich Italo-Ameican Women’s Club.

Amelia was a special person to many people and she will be sorely missed by all.

She is survived by four children Theresa A. Gallo (Steven Ackerman), Mark T. Gallo, Sr. (Debra), Paul E. Gallo (Sandra) and Robert F. Gallo (Mary); nine grandchildren Robert Gallo, William Games, III, Nicholas Games, Matthew MacDonald, Charlene Gallo, Mark Gallo, III, Jennifer Darois, Angela McAneney and Aleathea Doyle; twelve great grandchildren and seven siblings Carmine Nappa, Vincent Nappa, Mary Walters, Ann Rice, Frank Nappa, Anthony Nappa and Michael Nappa. She was the sister of the late Antoinette King, Pasquale Nappa and Domenic Nappa.

Funeral Friday June 8 ^th at 10:00 am from the Hill Funeral Home 822 Main St., East Greenwich with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 65 Third St., East Greenwich. Burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston. Calling hours: Thursday June 7 ^th from 6-8 pm.
