Ann C. Brown

Ann C. (Lepry) Brown, of West Shore Health Center, Warwick, died on October 29, 2018.  She was the wife of the Joseph J. Brown.

A lifelong resident of Warwick, Ann was the daughter of the late Louis and Ann Marie (Mitchell) Lepry.  She is survived by her stepdaughter, Janice Sylvestre of Westerly, and her stepson, David Brown of Green Bay, Wisconsin.  She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.  Ann was the stepmother of the late Joseph Z. Brown and Connie Hathaway.

Ann was predeceased by brothers, John and Louis Lepry, and sisters, Rosemary Cross, Louise Casey, and Dolores Lepry.  She is survived by Rita Russo of North Kingstown.

Ann was Office Manager of Manufacturing Jewelers & Silversmiths of America for 10 years; Administrative Assistant to the President of Madison Industries for six years; Assistant Secretary of the corporation for Amtel, Inc. for 10 years, and Vice President of Administration for Mercury Print and Mail for 16 years.

In 1979 and 1980, she was President of the Providence Chapter, Administrative Management Society, and from 1984 to 1986, its International Director for the Northeast Region.

A communicant of St. Gregory the Great Church, she was a past member of the Parish Council, a lector, and an editor of the parish newsletter.

An avid golfer, Ann was a member of Potowomut Golf Club for over 20 years; traveled abroad extensively, and loved gardening.

Ann was a wonderful stepmother, grandmother, sibling, and aunt to many nieces and nephews.  She was generous with her time, talents and treasures.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, November 10 ^th at 11:00am at St. Gregory the Great Church, Cowesett Rd., Warwick.  Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, East Greenwich.  Donations in her memory may be made to West Shore Health Center, 109 West Shore Rd., Warwick, RI 02889.
