Ann C. Campanella

Ann C. Campanella, 88, passed away at Rhode Island Hospital on November 7, 2017. She was the wife of the late Superior Court Judge Americo Campanella. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Julia (Spaziano) DiGiacinto.

Mrs. Campanella was a bank bookkeeper in her early years. She was a member of the Women’s Youth League of RI and the Alpine Country Club. She had taught CCD at St. Francis de Sales Church, was an avid bridge player, enjoyed reading, painting, cooking and most of all being with her family.

She is survived by her children, Diane Montone and her husband William and David Campanella and his companion Rosemary; grandchildren, Christine Lowe and her husband Brandon, Andrew Montone and his wife Jennifer and Alex, Kara and David Campanella; great grandchildren, Jackson, Olivia, William and Julia Lowe and Jack Montone; a sister Dorothy Wilkenson and nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Anthony Ursillo.

Funeral Tuesday, November 14th at 8:30am from the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am at St. Gregory the Great Church, Cowesett Rd., Warwick. Burial will be in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Tourette Syndrome Society or Hope Hospice Care of RI.
