Ann Marie Crowley, 73, of 6 Enfield Street, Johnston, RI died at her home of natural causes on December 14, 2022. Ann Marie was born July 9, 1949 the beloved daughter of James Crowley and Nancy (Basile) Crowley.
Ann Marie Crowley is survived by her best friend, Margaret Jordan of Johnston, RI. Ann Marie is survived by her cousins, Marianne (Basile) Hillier of Wakefield, RI, JoAnne Basile of North Kingstown, RI, Joan (Basile) Konowski of Wayland, MA, Christine L. Basile of Southborough, MA, Francis P. Basile of Bloomington, Indiana, Stephen Basile of Middletown, RI, Richard Basile of Ridgefield, CT, Paul Basile of Miami, FL, Sandra (Basile) Miller of Carlsbad, CA and Frank Basile of Los Angeles, CA.
In 1979, Ann Marie Crowley completed her Bachelor of Arts Degree at Providence College. Ann Marie's career included experience as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant and legal secretary. Employed by private firms as well as RI Legal Services, Inc., Ann Marie had extensive experience with Blue Cross and Medicare issues. She drafted pleadings in criminal and civil litigation in state courts as well as the U.S. District Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals.
With a twinkle in her eye and her humor, Ann Marie was an entertaining storyteller. Ann Marie was proud of her Irish-Italian heritage. She loved to watch television especially soap operas. Ann Marie was interested in reading books, had a love of music, and found serenity in solitude.
A committal service will be held Thursday, December 29th in St. Ann Cemetery, 73 Church Street, Cranston, RI at 11am.
