Ann E. Kettelle

Ann E. Kettelle (Lancellotta), 77, of East Greenwich, passed away at Women and Infants Hospital on Monday, December 3, 2018. She was the wife of Donald “Ducky” Kettelle. Born in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni A. and Eleanor (DiChristofaro) Lancellotta. The world has lost a kind and loving soul but heaven has surely gained an angel.

Ann was employed as a dietary aide at both Kent County Hospital and West Bay Manor, as well as at Leviton in her younger years, where she met some of her lifelong, beloved friends. She had a strong love of both children and animals, and supported causes for both throughout her life.

Ann was a Communicant of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, East Greenwich. In her spare time, she enjoyed interior decorating and floral gardening. Perhaps what Ann is known for most is her passion for Christmastime, which was no doubt a reflection of her generous spirit. Most of all, her devotion and loyalty to her children, grandchildren, family and friends will be forever cherished by those in her life.

She leaves two children: Kyle D. Kettelle of Coventry and Kammie K. Lombardi of Scituate, along with their spouses, Nicole and Stephen; and her precious grandchildren: Amelia Ann, Anthony Joseph “AJ," Alicia, Stephen and Brittany.

A Requiem Eucharist will be held Monday, December 10 th at 10:00am at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 99 Peirce St., East Greenwich.  Burial will be in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown.  Calling hours:  Sunday, December 9 th 5:30pm-8:00pm at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich.  Flowers are accepted as well as gifts in her memory to St. Mary's Home for Children, 421 Fruit Hill Ave., North Providence, RI 02911.
