Anna B. (Griffin) Washington

74, passed away August 17, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Nouquina Griffin (Tavares) and the late Lloyd T Griffin. She was the sister of the late councilman Lloyd Griffin, Anthony Amado, Margie Amado Anderson, late Audrey Amado Bowman, late Barbara Amado Allen. Mrs Washington was the beloved wife of the late James Washington Jr. She leaves behind five children Barbara Williams, Catherine Wise, Nouquina Washington of Providence, James T Washington of East Providence and Georgianna Lee of Connecticut. She had 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Visiting hours Monday August 24 from 9-11am with a funeral service at 11am in the Mt. Hope Community Baptist Church 734 Hope Street Providence. Burial will be in Swan Point Cemetery.
