Aura A. Jiménez, 72, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 15, 2026, at Rhode Island Hospital.
She was the beloved wife of Carlos Daniel Jiménez; mother of Javier and Rosario Jiménez; mother-in-law of Jenny, who always showed her much love, and of Pablo, her son-in-law who was always present; and proud grandmother of Laura, Paulo, and Giancarlo, who were constant sources of joy in her life.
Born in the province of Dajabón, Dominican Republic, she was the daughter of Laura Jiménez and Jorge Pérez Casilla. She was the third of eight siblings: Jorge, Freddy, Onelio, Aura, Benjamín, Minely, Elsa, and Maritza, with whom she shared a life marked by family love and the values that distinguished her.
She dedicated 32 years of her life to education as a teacher in Santiago, leaving an indelible mark on the education of numerous generations. Even after her retirement, she continued to share her passion for teaching by teaching literacy and guiding her nieces and nephews from an early age. All her nieces and nephews loved her deeply, as she showed affection to each one of them in a unique and special way.
Aura was an exemplary wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, mother-in-law, and grandmother, characterized by her unconditional love and her constant readiness to help others. Her strength, wisdom, and generosity were an inspiration to her family, friends, and community.
A woman of deep faith, kindness, and solidarity, she served her church and those who had the privilege of knowing her with love and dedication. Her legacy of service, love, and devotion will remain forever in the hearts of all those whose lives were touched by her presence.
She was surrounded by her loved ones until the end. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Aura A. Jiménez, de 72 años de edad, partió a la presencia del Señor el lunes 15 de junio de 2026 en el Hospital de Rhode Island.
Fue la amada esposa de Carlos Daniel Jiménez; madre de Javier y Rosario Jiménez; suegra de Jenny, quien siempre le brindó mucho amor, y de Pablo, su yerno que siempre ha estado presente; y orgullosa abuela de Laura, Paulo y Giancarlo, quienes fueron una fuente constante de alegría en su vida.
Nació en la provincia de Dajabón, República Dominicana, hija de Laura Jiménez y Jorge Pérez Casilla. Fue la tercera de ocho hermanos: Jorge, Freddy, Onelio, Aura, Benjamín, Minely, Elsa y Maritza, con quienes compartió una vida marcada por el amor familiar y los valores que la distinguieron.
Dedicó 32 años de su vida a la educación como profesora en Santiago, dejando una huella imborrable en la formación de numerosas generaciones. Aun después de su retiro, continuó compartiendo su pasión por la enseñanza al alfabetizar y orientar a sus sobrinos desde temprana edad. Todos sus sobrinos la amaron profundamente, pues a cada uno le brindó cariño de una forma particular y especial.
Aura fue una esposa, madre, hija, hermana, tía, suegra y abuela ejemplar, caracterizada por su amor incondicional y su disposición constante para ayudar a los demás. Su fortaleza, sabiduría y generosidad fueron una inspiración para su familia, amistades y comunidad.
Mujer de profunda fe, bondadosa y solidaria, sirvió con amor y dedicación a su iglesia y a quienes tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla. Su legado de servicio, amor y entrega permanecerá para siempre en el corazón de todos aquellos cuyas vidas fueron tocadas por su presencia.
Estuvo rodeada de sus seres queridos hasta el final. Será profundamente extrañada y recordada con amor por su familia, amigos y todos los que la conocieron.
