Asa S. Davis, Sr.

Asa S. Davis, Sr., 94, a long time East Greenwich resident passed away October 21, 2017. He was predeceased by his wife of 68 years Rita A. (Lariviere) Davis.

He worked at Quonset and Leesona and was a US Navy WWII veteran serving in the Pacific Theater with the PBN 104 Bomber Squadron. He was an avid fisherman in his younger years and an avid golfer in his mid to later years.

He is survived by his son Asa S. Davis, Jr, 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He was the father of the late Robert Davis.

Committal Prayers with military honors will be held on Wednesday November 1st at 11:30 am in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Calling hours: Tuesday October 31st from 5-8 pm in the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
