Aurea P. Mercedes

of Providence, RI passed to a better life on May 1st, 2020. She was born from Maria Batista & Rafael Mercedes on May 1st 1950, in Bonao, Dominican Republic. Alongside her were 6 siblings. She leaves her children: Lauris Caceres Mercedes & Luis Caceres Mercedes and 3 grandsons. She would be remembered for her immense love for her son, daughter & grandchildren; her caring and compassionate heart for her family & friends; and continuous work for the community. Her adventurous yet free spirit was contagious to everyone. “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
