Barbara R. Ardolino

Barbara R. Ardolino, 72, of East Greenwich, RI, passed away on April 7.  She was the beloved daughter of the late Sam and Jean (D’Eugenio) Ardolino and beloved sister of Donna Carroll of East Greenwich, Dr. Harry Ardolino and his wife Elizabeth, of Madison, CT and the late Mary Jean Rhode and her husband David.  She was the loving aunt of 5 nieces and nephews; Sue and her husband Jeff, Dana and her husband Justin, Johnathan and his wife Christine, Christopher and his wife Ashley and Kate and great aunt to Max, James, Brecken and Sam.

Barbara was a graduate of Cranston East High School and Johnson and Wales University.

B arbara was a very strong and independent woman who enjoyed many summers at the beach.  She was creative and artistic, loved photography and gardening and enjoyed many long term friendships.

She was a woman of great courage and compassion and will be sorely missed by all.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, April 11 th at 7:00pm at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich.  Visitation will be prior to the service, 4-7pm.  Burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation.
