Barbara E. Cavanaugh

Barbara E. Cavanaugh, 89, of East Greenwich, passed away November 13, 2016. She is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, John T. Cavanaugh, Jr. Born in Worcester, MA, she was the daughter of the late Edward S. and Elizabeth (Whitehill) Inman.

Mrs. Cavanaugh had attended the University of Rhode Island. She had been an employee of Bostitch and later worked as an Office Manager at the former Cavanaugh Insurance Agency with her husband. Progressive for her time, she had the ability to successfully manage a household and work full time.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She will be dearly missed.

Besides her husband she leaves. sons; Michael J. Cavanaugh and Scott E. Cavanaugh and his wife Arleen, grandson Braeden E. Cavanaugh and sister in law Evelyn Inman. She was the sister of the late Edward S. Inman, Jr.

Funeral Service Saturday, November 19th at 10:00am at the East Greenwich United Methodist Church, 1558 So. County Trail, East Greenwich. Burial will be private. Calling hours are respectfully omitted. Contributions in her name may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
