Basilicia "Sila" Perez

of Providence, RI passed away on Thursday, April 2nd after an aggressive battle with cancer. She was born to Carmen and Anibal Vargas on April 14, 1955 in Baitoa, Dominican Republic. Alongside her were 4 brothers and 4 sisters. She will be remembered for her beautiful, radiant and infectious smile that would light up a room. Her warmth and love was felt by many who will miss her immensely. Her memories will live in our hearts forever. She is survived by her husband, Manuel; daughter, Midalma; son, Luis; and grandson, Jelani.
