Betty J. Readey

Betty J. Readey, 89 passed away November 25, 2017. She was the wife of the late John H. Readey, Sr. Born in Houston, TX she was a daughter of the late Bernard and Mildred (Cramer) Franklin.

Mrs. Readey was an active member of Our Lady of Mercy Church and was involved in many of their activities.  She loved scrabble and crossword puzzles and was an avid Boston Red Sox & New England Patriots fan.

She is survived by five children; Mary K. Sweet, John H. Readey, Jr., Stephen A. Readey, James M. Readey and Bettyanne Tatnall, ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, and is also survived by three sisters and one brother.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday December 2 ^nd at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 65 Third St., East Greenwich. Burial will be the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Calling hours: Friday December 1st from 5-7 pm at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich.
