Beverly G. (Wilding) Deming a lifelong resident of East Greenwich before moving to Coventry and also residing in Lady Lake, Florida for the winters passed away February 9, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles H. Deming for 61 years.
She was born in East Greenwich, on April 24, 1934 and was the daughter of the late Grace (Verry) Wilding and Charles Wilding and step daughter to Ellen Wilding.
She retired as a Data Management Clerk with the EG School Department in 1992. She was an active member for over 70 years with the United Methodist Church of East Greenwich and attended regularly at the Community United Methodist Church while spending the winter in Florida.
She was a member and past president of the EG Fire Department Station 1 Auxiliary. As a youth she held many offices of the Rocky Hill Grange in East Greenwich.
She leaves three children, a son Stephen C. Deming and his late wife Mary of Coventry; a daughter Cynthia G. Palardy and her husband Michael of Coventry; son Kenneth C. Deming and his wife Kimberly of Lake Mary, Florida and five grandchildren Hannah L. Caisse and her husband Benjamin of Smithfield, Michael J. Palardy, Jr. and his wife Nicole of Rohnert Park, California, Melissa G. Palardy of Coventry, Karla J. Johnson and her husband Andrew of Portsmouth, Brooke K. Deming of Lake Mary, Florida and six great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Charles Wilding, Jr., of Ocala, Florida, the late Janice Wilding of Warwick and the late Barbara Mosher of Ocala, Florida.
Funeral service Friday, March 6, 2026 at 11:00 am at the East Greenwich United Methodist Church, 1558 South County Trail, East Greenwich. Burial will be private. Calling hours: Thursday, March 5, 2026 from 5-7 pm in the Fagan Quinn Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Rd., North Kingstown UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE HILL SKEFFINGTON FUNERAL HOME OF EAST GREENWICH. In lieu of flowers donations in Beverly’s name may be made to the East Greenwich Veterans Fireman’s Association Museum Fund, 80 Queen St. East Greenwich, RI 02818 or to the East Greenwich United Methodist Church.
