Brian Joseph Conway

Brian Joseph Conway: 75, May 7, 2024 Known as BJ in his childhood, Brian passed away on May 7th in his hometown of Providence, RI, with his family by his side. He was born in Providence on February 18, 1949 and was the son of Charles Martin Conway and Catherine Bracq Conway. Brian was predeceased by his parents and his brother Terrance Conway. He is survived by his sister Mary Viruleg (Andrew) of Kimberly, Alabama and his sister Ann Conway of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, as well as a niece and nephew. Brian was a kind and compassionate soul, generous to all he came in contact with. He loved reading and learning, especially about science and the natural world. He also loved a good joke. He was a gentleman, in the true sense of the word. The family is grateful to the caregivers and staff of Elmwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their understanding and kindness and their support of Brian in his last days.
