Bruno H. Bartnick, Chief Petty Officer, USN Retired, 84, of North Kingstown, passed away May 12, 2016. He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Ann T. (Gillespie) Bartnick. Born in New York, NY, he was a son of the late Herman and Christine (Scheer) Bartnick.

Mr. Bartnick was a 21 year career Navy Veteran, having served during Korea and Vietnam. He also worked for Sears and the former Mancini’s Hardware. He was a member of the American Legion, the Fleet Reserve Association and the VFW. He enjoyed miniature boat building, fishing and hunting.

Besides his wife he is survived by his children Michael P. Bartnick, Cherylann C. Wilkinson, Sharon M. Uber and her husband Tom, Linda A. Messier and her husband Albert and Daniel Bruno Bartnick and his wife Kari; siblings Charley, Andy, Richie, Al, Eddy and Jackie; 15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Roy, Billy and Johnny.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, May 15th at 3:00pm at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich. A Committal Service will held Friday, July 22nd at 1:00pm at the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Parkinson’s Disease Association of RI.
