Carol A. Romoli, 62, of Johnston, RI passed away May 10, 2021 at the Hope Health Hospice Center. Carol was born in Worcester, MA to Mother, Elsie I (Tully) Wilson and Father Gordon A. Wilson and later moved to Pawtucket, RI where Carol was raised for the majority of her childhood and adolescence.
Carol was a graduate of the 1977 Sr. High class at St Raphael’s Academy in Pawtucket and later in life continued her education at The Sawyer School, also in Pawtucket, where she earned a degree in office administration and secretarial sciences.
Cooking was one of Carol’s favorite pastimes and she could have easily been found in the kitchen on any given holiday, or oftentimes trying a new recipe during her free time. She worked as a cook in the food service industry for over 20 years and never tired of it.
Carol is survived by her three children Carlin Lauzier of Cumberland, RI, Kristen Gendreau-Faella and her husband Christian Faella of Johnston, RI, and Peter Gendreau and his wife Megan Gendreau of Hopkington, RI, and by her seven Grandchildren: Ethan A. Sousa, Rui F. Gendreau, Logan A. Vega, Charlotte A. Wood, Allison P. Wood, Jordan E. Faella & Madelyn P. Gendreau.
Surviving in addition to her children and grandkids is her sister Linda K. Cathers of Tiverton, RI and brothers Michael E. Kane of Gainesville, FL and Patrick J Kane of Providence, RI.
Carol was a loving and compassionate Sister, Mother, Mema, and friend whose kind and giving spirit made it easy for her to be loved by so many and now missed dearly by all.
There will be a viewing Sunday, May 23, 2021 from 3-4:15pm followed by a prayer service at the J. F. Skeffington Funeral Home and Cremations located at 925 Chalkstone Avenue, Providence.
