Catherine L. Erba

Catherine L. Erba, 91, formerly of North Providence and North Kingstown, passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 6, 2016. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Erba) Erba and a sister of the late Josephine E. DeSantis.

Miss Erba was a kind and humble person known by her family for her delicious baking and love for animals. She was an executive secretary for Citizens Bank for 35 years. She was also a world traveler and beautiful pianist.

She leaves behind a brother William D. Erba and his wife Cathleen, her beloved niece Elizabeth A. Demers and her husband Anthony, niece Laurel A. Montella and her husband Salvatore, nephews Joseph W. DeSantis and his wife Gwin and Paul M. DeSantis and his wife Dr. Donna Christie, 5 grand nieces and 3 grand nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, October 11th at 10:00am at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 65 Third St., East Greenwich. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, East Greenwich.
