Catherine A. Pearson

Catherine A. Pearson, 80, passed away June 17, 2016. She was the wife of the late William M. Pearson, III. Born in Philadelphia, PA she was a daughter of the late Thomas A. and Frances (Curran) McCosker.

Mrs. Pearson was a Hospice Volunteer, a graduate of the Stephen Ministries of Brown University, a longtime volunteer for the Kent County Hospital Auxiliary, a member of the Buttonwoods Beach Garden Club and a 48 year member of the East Greenwich Yacht Club.

She is survived by four children: William M. Pearson, IV, Diana E. Pearson Butzbach, Christopher T. Pearson and Tracey L. Boyajian and six grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday June 21st at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 65 Third St., East Greenwich. Burial will be private. Calling hours: Monday June 20th from 4-7 pm at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Beacon Hospice, 1130 Ten Rod Rd., Suite C104, North Kingstown, RI 02852.
