Christine C. Faria

Christine C. Faria, 61, passed away July 22, 2023. Born in Providence she was a daughter of Carleen C. (Souza) Faria and the step daughter of Richard Mayforth.

She was a self-employed housekeeper for many years in addition to tending bar in various local establishments. Christine loved the outdoors especially the beach and was passionate about kayaking.

She was a very generous person and was always the first in line to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Besides her mother and step father she is survived by two sisters: Kim Williams and her husband Keith and Donna Young and her husband Bruce and she was Auntie “Tine Tine” to her niece Kassidy Williams.  She was the sister of the late Lou Faria.

Funeral service Thursday July 27 at Noon at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich.  Burial will be private. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
