David T. Savage, Jr.

David T. Savage, Jr., 90, of East Greenwich, passed away on December 14, 2025. Dave was born on October 9, 1935, to David and Elizabeth (Colville) Savage in Philadelphia, PA. He was pre-deceased by his sister, Janet Sleeper.

Dave attended Princeton University. After graduating in 1957 with a BA in Economics, he served in the U.S. Navy followed by a 37 year career with General Electric in the Wiring Devices Division.

Throughout his 61 years as part of the East Greenwich community, Dave was actively involved in coaching youth sports and volunteering for Habitat For Humanity. He was also an active member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church.

Dave was an avid golfer, managing a golf group of friends for several years. He also enjoyed traveling and, above all, spending time with family and friends.

He leaves behind his wife of 68 years, Patricia Parker Savage, three children, Laura Savage, David Savage (Elaine), and Diane Hagenburg (Eric), four grandchildren, Raia Noble (Alex), Tess Savage (Will), Max Hagenburg, and Zoe Hagenburg, and two great grandchildren, Kai and Cameron Noble.

Dave was loved deeply and will be missed dearly.

Funeral service Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 12:30 pm in the Fagan Quinn Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Rd., North Kingstown UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE HILL SKEFFINGTON FUNERAL HOME OF EAST GREENWICH. Burial will be private. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, www.stjude.org
