Deborah Sue Wetzel

Deborah Sue Wetzel (née LaBarre), fondly known as Deb, passed away on August 12, 2024, in Woonsocket, RI, at the age of 62. Born in Lebanon, NH, Deb was a cherished member of her community and a retired bookkeeper, having dedicated 30 years to her profession from 1985 to 2015. Deb was a woman of many talents, known especially for her passion for cooking and baking. Her homemade dishes were often the highlight of any gathering, bringing joy and warmth to family meals. She also had a love for music, often found dancing and singing along to every song that played. Spending time with her family was her favorite pastime, with Thanksgiving and Easter gatherings being the most cherished moments of the year. Deb is survived by her daughter, Lisa and husband Jeremy; her grandchildren, Caleb and Camden; and siblings, Sandy, Nancy, and Tony. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pauline and Howard, and siblings, John and Joan. Deb's life and legacy will be remembered fondly by all who knew her, as her spirit and love continue to live on through her family and friends. A private funeral service will be held for immediate family members.
