Delores Ann Verrecchia (Corsi)

Delores Ann Verrecchia (Corsi) 86, born May 2, 1935 passed away on Friday, May 21, 2021 at Cherry Hill Manor in Johnston, RI. Delores was a lifelong Providence resident. She was the daughter of the late Mario Corsi and Carolina (Pari) Corsi. She was sister of Myrna Vellucci, Annette Delibero and the late Anthony Corsi. Delores was married for 55 years to her beloved husband, the late Daniel R. Verrecchia. She was the proud Mother of four children, Dana A. Veasey, Husband Michael, Mirenda Hearn, husband John, Dorne Tridenti, and Daniel A. Verrecchia, wife Michele. Blessed to be a grandmother of six: Amanda Hemond, Elliot Hearn, Matthew Veasey, Marlaina Veasey, Jason Martone, Marco Martone, and Danielle Verrecchia. She was also blessed to be a great-grandmother of seven. She loved to sing songs and dance to music on the radio or at parties. She was a great baby-sitter and enjoyed playing with all her grandchildren. She was an expert at house cleaning. She liked playing cards with her friends and was an avid shopper for the latest styles of clothing, shoes and jewelry, always looking her best! She made the best carrot cake and potato salad and loved to laugh and joke with everyone. Delores will be greatly missed by all of us who loved her. Viewing Wednesday morning 9-1030 at the J.F. Skeffington Funeral Home 925 Chalkstone Avenue Providence. A mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St Ann’s Church 2 Russo Street Providence followed by interment in North Burial Ground Cemetery on North Main Street in Providence.
