Deloris A. Griffee

Deloris Ann Griffee (Summers), age 87 died June 29, 2023 on her own terms following many health issues.

‘Mom, PJ, GiGi, Grams, G, Aunt’ were some of the nicknames she answered to.  She loved all flowers, especially her flower garden.  She loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  She was a loving, kind woman who just loved people.

Deloris was born in Webster County, Iowa, the third of seven children to Wilbur Sr, known as Bud, and Margaret (Ekstrom) Summers.

She is survived by her children: Kent Griffee and Susan Battista (Robert); her grandchildren: Christopher (Kendra), Jonathan (Lillian) and Alex Griffee, Cory Battista (Jessica) and Noelle Rhodes (Shaun); her great-grandchildren: Mason & Jacklynn Griffee, Natalie Battista, Vivian, Bode & Gunnar Rhodes; her sister Dianne Hoover; sisters-in-law: Carol & Sue Summers; and brother-in-law Jack Montgomery.

Deloris was predeceased by her parents and all her brothers: Robert, Wilbur Jr., Jerry and Jackie; and by her sister Darlene.

A celebration of her life will be held Friday, July 7th at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St. East Greenwich, immediately after 4-6 pm calling hours.
