Denise M. Forsell

Denise M. Forsell, 88, passed away October 9, 2021. She was the former wife of the late Gordon H. Forsell. Born in Providence she was a daughter of the late William and Catherine (Gannon) Creegan.

Prior to starting her family, Denise worked at the Army Map Service in Warwick as a draftsman. She was a devoted caregiver to the many dogs she adopted and rescued, and loved knitting and gardening.

Denise was very proud of her family's business Haven Brothers. Her grandmother had started the business which has been and continues to be a staple in the city of Providence.

She was a loving and devoted mother to her children: Paul Forsell, Cathy Forsell-Gorrie, David Forsell, Tracie Catelli and Terri Mirandou. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, Jacob Epstein, Caitlyn Epstein, Tim Barney, Seth Barney, Jason Mirandou, Sarah Mirandou and Bodie Forsell and her sister Carol McCormick. She was the mother of the late Kristen Forsell.

She also leaves her faithful dogs Dyllan & Maggie.

Calling hours will be held on Monday October 18 ^th from 5-7 pm at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich. Her funeral and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the Potter League for Animals www.potterleague.org or to Pet Refuge www.nkeapl.org
