Diane L. Gleason

Diane Gleason of East Greenwich, Rhode Island passed away peacefully with her heart full of love and the loving support of her family on October 12th, 2019.

She was born in Providence Rhode Island to Frank and Lottie as well as devoted sister and best friend, Charlotte.

She met the love of her life, Wayne in her younger years but it wasn't until later in life that they finally came together. This was the beginning of many great things that they would share between them. They would co-run a business, Gleason Oil together and Start and raise a family together.

This was where Diane's Real Passion lay, in her family. This was especially true when it came to her children; Laurie, Jason and Adam as well as four grandchildren; Benjamin, Alex, Erin and Megan and two step grand children Jessica and Billy. She also had great love for her nephews Jonathan and Joseph as well as Wayne's other children; Melanie, Jennifer and Allison and their families including 5 grand children. They were the bricks if Wayne and Diane were the mortar.

She adored her historic properties in East Greenwich where she could often be found lovingly caring for and maintaining with a paintbrush in hand.

She also enjoyed other things in life. She had a long standing group of friends she would get together with often. She was and avid collector of antiques and would frequent the local yard sales, flea markets in search of treasures.

Calling hours are omitted.  Funeral and Burial will be private.  Instead of flowers Diane's family ask that any one wishing to pay further respect a donation in her honor to Alzheimer's Association.
