Donald A. Ballard

Donald A. Ballard, 73, passed away April 6, 2020. He was the husband of Mary Ann (Lenzen) Ballard. Born in Butler, OH he was a son of the late Basil and Ezra (Reece) Ballard.

He worked as a service technician in the heating and air conditioning industry for over 30 years, and also served as an instructor this field. He was stationed at Quonset Point serving in the US Navy as a Seabee completing two tours in Vietnam. He . He was a member of the RI Fish & Game Protective Association.

Besides his wife he is survived by his son Brian A. Ballard and his wife Nadiuska, his grandson Dregen and four siblings; Alice Peabody, Judy Sarber, Basil “Buzz” Ballard and John Ballard.  He was the brother of the late Dorothy Ballard, Deborah Clark and Thelma Whitcomb.

Due to current health and safety regulations his funeral service will be private. A private burial with military honors will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Memorial contributions in Donald's memory may be made to the Jimmy Fund.
