Dorothy B. Moran

Dorothy B. Moran passed away January 17, 2026 on her 106th birthday. She was the wife of the late Raymond A. Moran. Born in Providence she was a daughter of the late Theodore and Flora B. (Desrosiers) St. Onge.

Dorothy worked for the former Browns Tailors and Cleaners in East Greenwich for over 25 years and was a daily mass attendee at St. Francis de Sales Church.

She is survived by four children Raymond A. Moran, Jr. (Ann), Patricia A. Ferns (Raymond), William J, Moran (Anne) and Denise M. Belton (Peter), seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Kenneth B. Moran (Susan), the sister of the late Annette, Rita, Bertha Teresa and Constance and the grandmother of the late Christopher Ferns.

A Mass of Christan Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 11:00 am at St. Francis de Sales Church, School St., North Kingstown. Burial will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visitation will be held prior to the mass from 9:15 am -10:15 am in the Fagan Quinn Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Rd., North Kingstown UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE HILL SKEFFINGTON FUNERAL HOME OF EAST GREENWICH. www.hillskeffington.com
