Dr. Richard E. Simone, D.D.S.

Dr. Richard E. Simone, D.D.S., 89, died November 24, 2017.  He was the husband of Constance T. (Faneuf) Simone. Born in Providence he was a son of the late Lucian and Elvira (Greco) Simone.

Dr. Simone was a past President of the Kent County Dental Society and a WWII US Army veteran.

Besides his wife he is survived by five children; Mia S. Francis, Christopher R. Simone, Susan S. Campbell, Monique A. Simone and Carl A. Simone, five grandchildren and one sister Miriam Lamanna. He was the brother of the late Lucian Simone.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday November 29 ^th at 11:00 am at St. Gregory the Great Church, Cowesett Rd., Warwick. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester, MA at 1:30 pm. Visitation will be held prior to mass from 9:30-10:30 am at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich. In lieu of flowers donations in Dr. Simone’s memory may be made to the ALS Association, Rhode Island Chapter, www.alsari.org
