Edward P. Dupuis

Edward P. Dupuis, 88, passed away with his wife by his side on February 21, 2026. He is survived by his wife of 42 years Joanne F. (Brown) Dupuis. Born in Boston, MA he was a son of the late Norman and Dorothy (Lecours) Dupuis.

Mr. Dupuis grew up in Laconia, NH and later Gilmanton, NH. He graduated from Laconia High School in 1958 and Wentworth Institute of Technology in 1960. He and his wife Joanne moved to Hillsborough, NH and resided there for 36 years moving back to RI in 2020

Mr. Dupuis was in the construction industry, working for Hart Engineering Company in East Providence, RI and Charwill Construction in Meredith, NH. When he began his career in this field, he started out as a carpenter retiring with the position of superintendent.

He enjoyed sky diving, water skiing on Lake Winnipesaukee, NH, playing pool with friends and his Harley Davidson motor cycle.

Besides his wife he is survived by three children, William Dupuis, Michael Duprey and Dean Dupuis, four grandchildren, one brother Rowdy Dupuis and his “extended family” the Wilkins Family of Gilmanton, New Hampshire. He was the brother of the late Bob and Rick Dupuis.
