Edward "Eddie" Irizarry

Edward "Eddie" Irizarry of Johnston, Rhode Island left this earth on Monday, April 5, 2021. Our hearts and souls are heavy with his absence. Eddie was born to parents Eluterio Irizarry and Irene Serrano, on November 23, 1967, in Glen Cove, New York.  Eddie leaves behind his two younger brothers Samuel Irizarry and Daniel Irizarry.  He is survived by his loving son, Xavier Irizarry.   His family will remember him as a hardworking, fun, and dedicated Father to his only Son.  He will also be remembered for the many great drawings he enjoyed creating in his down time.  For the past seven years, Eddie worked at Tasca Ford. `He valued hard work, honesty and always kept his word.' He will be dearly missed by his favorite Cousin Juan Carlos Garcia as they shared many memories of fishing. He will always be the greatest catch we ever had. His Nieces and Nephews will remember him always as the life of the party and as a father figure. Edward Irizarry will be missed greatly by many Family members and Friends. Services will be held at J.F. Skeffington Funeral Home, 925 Chalkstone Avenue, Providence, RI, on Friday, April 9, 2021 from 4-6pm. Due to Covid-19 precautions the services will be open to close Family and Friends only.
