Edward Carmine Lato, Jr. (Eddie), 77, passed away surrounded by his loving family and friends. Born March 29, 1947 to Hilda and Edward Lato, Sr. Proudly born and raised on Federal Hill in Providence. His best shared memories were of his family, friends, acquaintances, places and the lifelong friendships bonded in the Federal Hill neighborhood in times gone by but still tied to today. He was a truly loyal and honorable friend to those around him. Always devoted husband to Sandra and father to Jennifer and grandfather to Matthew, brother to Carol and Uncle to Richard. Our loss in immense, he will be deeply missed but always remembered. Service will be held Tuesday, September 3rd from 5-9pm at the Skeffington Funeral Home and Cremations, 925 Chalkstone Avenue, Providence.
