58, passed suddenly July 7,2016. He was the beloved husband of Cyndee Phoenix. Son of Edwin Phoenix and the late Margaret Phoenix. Beloved father of Erica & Joseph O'Neill, Margaret Padaya, Simone & Stephen Watts, Edward Phoenix, Jr., Jameson Phoenix, and Kendra Phoenix. Brother of Barbara Gary, Edwin Phoenix, Jr., Cynthia Haye, Elizabeth King, and Anita Courtney. Beloved grandfather of Conor. Tyler. Ian. JaKai. Analiese. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Born in Boston, MA, Edward graduated from and played basketball for Madison Park High School. Since 2000, he was a homeowner in Providence, Rhode Island. For two years, Edward was a volunteer coach for the Met's recreatonal league basketball team and a mentor for young men. Memorial visiting hours will be held on Friday, July 15, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 pm at J.F. Skeffington Chapel, 925 Chalkstone Ave, Providence, RI.
