It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ellen Louise Falvey, 70, of Cranston, who passed away peacefully on Friday, September 15th, 2023.
Born on September 1st, 1953, in Newark, New Jersey, She was the beloved daughter of the late Daniel J Falvey Jr. and H. Louise Falvey (nee Hamblin).
Ellen was the dear sister of John H. Falvey of Cranston, and the late Daniel J. Falvey III of Florida, Edith A. Horn of New Jersey, and Catherine M. Connors of Cranston.
Ellen embarked on a remarkable career at Fisher Scientific, where she ultimately achieved the prestigious position of Area Vice President.
Ellen was the life of the party, she enjoyed traveling, shopping, playing cribbage, listening to her favorite rock singer Bruce Springsteen and watching her favorite tv show NCIS.
Ellen had an unmatched capacity for love and compassion. She took pleasure and celebrating other’s achievements and milestones. She was the embodiment of selflessness and devoted her life to putting her loved ones first.
Ellen will be greatly missed by her faithful Pug Banu, Family, and Friends.
A memorial service will be held on October 4th, 2023, at 10:00 am at Holy Apostles Church, 800 Pippin Orchard Road, Cranston, RI. The burial will be held privately.
The Family and Friends kindly request donations to the charity of choice in Ellen’s name, as she was a firm believer of giving back to her community.
