Eugene Lusignan

Eugene Lusignan, 91, passed away March 7, 2020. He was the husband of Lorraine B. (Roch) Lusignan. Born in Providence he was a son of the late Victor D. and Isabella (Hillman) Lusignan.

Mr. Lusignan owned and operated the former Gene’s IGA in East Greenwich. Prior to that he was a manager at the former Weybossett Market in East Greenwich. He was a US Army Korean War veteran.

Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, David E. Lusignan and his wife Debra and Steven P. Lusignan and his companion Christine, two granddaughters and five great grandchildren. He was the father of the late Marc P. Lusignan and the brother of the late Larry, Olive, Junior, John, Arthur, Donald, George and Dorothy.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday March 13 at 10:30 am at St. Francis de Sales Church, School St., North Kingstown. Burial with military honors will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visitation prior to the mass will be held from 8:45 am – 9:45 am at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich.
