Fay M. Masterson

Fay M. Masterson, 87, of East Greenwich, passed away January 22, 2018.  She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Arthur F. Masterson.  Born in East Greenwich, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Delia (Larrow) LaCross.

Mrs. Masterson was a 1951 graduate of St. Joseph School of Nursing.  She worked for over 30 years at Kent Hospital as a Registered Nurse and retired as a Supervisor.

B esides her husband she is survived by her children, Debra A. Petit Taylor and her husband Randy, James S. Masterson and his wife Terry and Elaine M. Vespia and her husband Rob; grandchildren, Scott Masterson, Melissa Masterson, Justin Vespia and Robyn Vespia Frail and great grandchildren, Cecelia, Cameron, Cassandra, Chace and Colin.  She was the sister of the late Frederick “Frenchy” LaCross.

Funeral Thursday, January 25 ^th at 9:00am from the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich.  Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 65 Third St., East Greenwich.  Burial will be in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.  Calling hours:  Wednesday, January 24 ^th 4-7pm.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care Rhode Island.
