Florence (Florio) Allen

91 years old, of Chalkstone Avenue, Providence passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Roger Williams Hospital. She was the wife of the late Lloyd R. Allen. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Joseph & Adel (Del Santo) Florio. Florence formerly worked at the Avon MFG Company as a jewelry worker. Surviving is her daughter Janice Banno, a brother Henery Florio; she was the grandmother of Cleta M. Simonin and the great-grandmother of Brian M. Simonin and Richard E.A. Pescatore. She was the sister of the late Thomas Sacco, Pasquale Florio and Vicky Matthias. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 10-11am followed by a Memorial Service at 11am in the J.F. Skeffington Chapel, 925 Chalkstone Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island 02908
