Frederic A. Hien, Jr.

Frederic A. Hien, Jr., 82, of Cranston, passed away January 26, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.  He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Jean M. (O’Neill) Hien.  Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Frederic A. and Florence L. (Fontaine) Hien.

Mr. Hien had been a mechanic for many years, retiring from the former Fram Corp., now Honeywell.

Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter, Cheryl A. Kluglein; siblings, Elaine Browning, Charles Hien and Sandra Sullivan; and granddaughters, Kimberly and Melissa Kluglein.  He was the father of the late Lori A. Hien and the brother of the late Frances Casavant.

Funeral Service Friday, February 2 ^nd at 11:00am at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich.  Inurnment will be in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.  Calling hours:  Thursday, February 1 ^st 6-8pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to the Special Olympics.
