George "Randy" Starr

George “Randy” Starr, 45, of Riverside, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, February 8, 2026. Born on December 5, 1980, in La Jolla, California, he was the beloved son of the late Sandra (Gardner) Fayne and Francis “Buddy” Fayne. A dedicated professional with a vibrant spirit, Randy served as a men’s hair stylist for twenty-five years. His career was as diverse as his interests, spanning roles as a DJ, security specialist, and party promoter, through which he became a well-known fixture in his community.

A lifelong motorcycle enthusiast, Randy served as the President of The Valhalla Hounds. He was most at home while working on his bike or organizing club rides, though he also found great joy in his love for music and spending time on the water. Often described as a “gentle giant,” Randy was a man of immense loyalty; to know him was to love him. He was the person many considered their best friend—the one who could be counted on for anything, at any time.

Randy is survived by his brother, Nicholas Fayne; his sister, Chellie Yoswa; and his grandmother, Barbara Gardner. He also leaves behind his aunt, Cindy Robinson; his uncle, Robert Gardner; his nephew, Brayden Fayne; and a large, loving extended family of cousins and countless friends.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 13th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Rebello Funeral Home, 901 Broadway, East Providence. Following the visitation, friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life at 7:00 PM at Lucky’s Pub, 1175 Warren Avenue, East Providence. In accordance with his wishes, no formal funeral services. Arrangements are entrusted to the SKEFFINGTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION Providence Rhode Island.
