Georgeos Themistoklis Filippou

Georgeos Themistoklis Filippou, 84, of East Greenwich, passed away July 18, 2018, surrounded by his loving family.  He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Maria (Haleftiris) Filippou.  Born in Argalasti, Greece, he was a son of the late Themistoklis and Maria (Zaharia) Filippou.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving sons; Themistoklis “Tim” Georgeos Filippou, Konstantinos Georgeos Filippou and Nikola Georgeos Filippou and his wife Aksana and grandsons, Alexander Georgeos Filippou and Andreas Georgeos Filippou.  He was the brother of Petro, Philip and Nikola Filippou and the late Sarah Marianos and Alexandra Botchis.

Funeral Service Monday, July 23 ^rd at 11:00AM at the Church of the Annunciation, 175 Oaklawn Ave., Cranston.  Burial will be in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown.  Calling hours:  Sunday, July 22 ^nd from 3:00PM to 6:00PM at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Church of the Annunciation would be appreciated.
