Gerard E. Malenfant

Gerard E. Malenfant, 79, passed away October 7, 2016. He was the husband of the late Ruth D. (Laboissonniere) Malenfant. He was the son of the late Cyris and Helen Malenfant.

Mr. Malenfant had worked many years at Ciba Geigy and Carbon Technology. He loved the outdoors, fishing, camping, boating and records.

He would do anything for his family.

He is survived by his children; Gerard, Jr., Michael and Janice Malenfant and Susan Blue, 5 grandchildren; Stephanie, Jesse, Samantha, Ruth and Renee, 2 great grandchildren; Jason and Evie and siblings; Jeannette Berard and Robert Malenfant. He was the brother of the late Leo and Omer Malenfant and Rose Poole.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:00am at St. Francis de Sales Church, School St., North Kingstown. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Calling hours: Tuesday 5-7pm. Visit hillfuneralhome.com for complete obituary and online condolences.
