Gregory "Greg" D. Abrams, 60, passed away peacefully at home after a long illness on Sunday, December 12, 2021. He was born January 13, 1961 in Fall River, Mass and lived most of his life in Rehoboth, Mass. Greg graduated from Bristol Agricultural School in 1979 where his natural love for farming and mechanics was nurtured and developed. He served in the Air Force from 1982-1986 and subsequently used his mechanical abilities to serve his community over the years, with his most recent position working for the Town of Rehoboth in the forestry department from 2013-2020. His love for farming and antique farming equipment led him to be one of the founders of the Rehoboth Chapter of the New England Antique Tractor and Truck Association in 2006. He really enjoyed tractor pulls and cutting and baling hay for local people over the years. His other interests included attending Nascar races, Seekonk Speedway and more recently bowling on a league at Lang’s Bowlarama. He is survived by his significant other, Lorraine Tessier, his brother Roger H. Proulx of California, his sister Stephanie Renda and her husband Matthew of New Hampshire, 2 nephews, 4 nieces and 2 great nieces. He is predeceased by his mother Bette Jean Dyer and father William Abrams Jr. He will be missed by his loved one’s and remembered for his sense of humor, patriotism, and care for those he loved, young and old and his love of laughter. In lieu of flowers please give to the Hope Hospice. 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
