Harry Tate Allison, 74, of Warwick, RI, passed away on June 26th, 2023, in Providence, RI. Born February 28, 1949, in Taunton, Massachusetts, he was the son of Rosemary (Carter) and Duane Allison. He was raised in Taunton, where he graduated from Coyle Cassidy High School. Upon graduating from high school, Harry enlisted in the US Navy, where he was assigned to the USS Davis and served as Naval Corpsman in Vietnam as a Petty Officer Second Class. After leaving military service, he worked as an Emergency Room Tech as he pursued his nursing degree and licensure from Diman’s School of Practical Nursing.  Harry spent the next thirty years working as a nurse in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Florida. He loved serving his community through his profession. He was an avid reader and animal lover. Harry has three sons that he adored: John (Laura) Allison of Milford, Ohio, James Allison of Fall River, Massachusetts, and Sean Allison, of Warwick, RI. He resided in Warwick, RI with his wife and best friend, Sharon (Niles) Allison. He is survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren (Meganne, John, Colton, Kyle, and Callie).  He is also survived by his brothers Paul (Pam) and Steven Allison, his first wife, Anne Donnelly, nieces, nephews, and other loving family members. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Joy Allison. His family and friends will dearly miss his sense of humor and ability to make every one laugh.
