Ione E. Doell

Ione E. (Brimacombe) Doell, 105, entered eternal rest on November 8, 2023 at Kent Regency in Warwick, RI. She was the daughter of the late Francis J. and Elizabeth (Weyer) Brimacombe. Born in 1918 in the Bronx, NY, where she graduated from high school, she worked in retail in New York City before marrying her high school sweetheart, Robert C. Doell in 1942.

She was a consummate homemaker as the family lived in the Bronx, Wilton, CT and several places in Rhode Island. A devoted wife and mother, she loved taking care of her family and home.

She is predeceased by two brothers, Frank and Robert, her wonderful husband in 1992, her dear daughter-in-law Barbara Battle Doell, in 2015, and her loving son, Robert E. Doell in 2023.

Her funeral and burial will be private.
